THE BREAKDOWN
The ship lost was a Praxis flown by Senzu Khan of Brave Collective's Rational Chaos Inc. The engagement was brief, but the result was anything but minor: the battle ended with the Praxis destroyed and a total value of 1.3 billion ISK tied up in the wreck. For a single ship loss, that is a sharp blow, especially in a fight that involved only five participants.
THE CLOSING NET
The attacker and victim entries both point to Brave Collective, which makes this an unusual and messy local clash rather than a clean outside strike. Damage came not only from Johny Fairplay and other Brave pilots in Praxis hulls, but also from an unknown attacker flying an Angel Dreadnought. That combination suggests the target was caught in a situation where the field turned dangerous very quickly, with heavier force present than a routine skirmish would normally suggest.
THE LOSSES
The Praxis itself carried fittings that made the wreck worth scavenging and expensive to lose. Republic Fleet Large Proton Smartbombs survived the blast and dropped into the wreck, while modules such as a Large Higgs Anchor I and Cap Recharger II were destroyed or scattered. The split between destroyed and dropped value — 688.7 million ISK destroyed and 619.4 million ISK recovered — shows just how much wealth was riding on a single hull.
WHY IT MATTERS
Even without a larger battle to anchor it, the loss stands out because it combines scale, value, and the awkwardness of the fight itself. Brave Collective not only lost a heavily fitted Praxis, but did so in a field that included its own ships and an Angel Dreadnought, a mix that suggests a moment of misjudgment, escalation, or simple bad luck. In KW-OAM, that was enough to turn one cruiser-class mistake into a very expensive reminder that even local fights can become catastrophes fast.
