THE PHOENIX FALLS
The most costly loss was the Phoenix Navy Issue flown by AlexKent of Snuffed Out’s Lowlife. corporation. The ship was worth 10.4 billion ISK, and the wreck tells the story of how little room there was for error once The Initiative. committed its Maelstroms. Jau Kariq delivered the final blow from a Maelstrom after sustained damage from a wave of Initiative battleships, suggesting the capital was pinned long enough for the attackers to grind it down rather than simply burst it apart.
THE SECOND CAPITAL
The Phoenix was not left to die alone. A Moros Navy Issue was also destroyed in the same action, reinforcing the sense that the engagement had turned into a capital trap or at least a disastrous exposure of high-value assets.
