The 7.5 billion ISK carrier-class command ship was pinned by a mixed attacking force, then finished after nearly three minutes of concentrated fire and pressure. THE CATCH

The fight in E-JCUS appears to have opened with the target already under serious pressure. The Phoenix Navy Issue belonged to RagmanNZ of Goonswarm Federation, flying under ANZAC ALLIANCE, and the attacker list shows 44 contributors in the final destruction alone. Guardians of Tranquility were the named aggressors, with a Tempest flown by Setsuna W landing the final blow. The presence of an unidentified hostile in an Infesting Corrupted Drone suggests the target was being harried from more than one angle as the trap tightened.

THE BREAK

Once the Phoenix Navy Issue was committed, the fight seems to have turned on sustained damage and denial rather than a clean chase. A Cenotaph, several Tempests, and the broader attacking group all contributed to the pressure that stripped the ship apart. The loss was not just the hull itself: more than 81,000 Nitrogen Isotopes were destroyed, along with Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedoes and Rogue Drone Infestation Data, while a portion of Strontium Clathrates and other stores were recovered or lost in the wreckage. THE LOSSES

The Phoenix Navy Issue accounted for 6.4 billion ISK in destroyed value and another 1.1 billion ISK dropped into the wreck, making it the overwhelming prize of the engagement. A Capsule was also lost in the aftermath, turning the encounter into a complete personal disaster rather than a simple ship loss. With just two losses recorded across the event, the destruction of the capital hull dominated everything around it.

WHY IT MATTERS

A Phoenix Navy Issue is not the sort of ship that disappears quietly. Its destruction in E-JCUS, especially against a 54-pilot field and with a multi-organization attacking presence, marks a sharply one-sided outcome for the defenders.
