THE CATCH
The engagement was brief, but it was anything but quiet. Ten pilots were on the field when the Phoenix was brought to battle in 4-HWWF, and the capital quickly became the centre of attention. What might have been a routine deployment for Fraternity. instead turned into a costly loss once hostile capitals and supporting ships committed to the fight.
THE BREAKDOWN
The damage list suggests a focused capital-level attack rather than a passing skirmish. A Naglfar, a Revelation, and additional support all contributed to the collapse of the Phoenix’s defences. ISK Printer 01’s Naglfar ultimately landed the finishing blow, but the pressure had already been applied by multiple attackers, including Heinrich IV’s Revelation and several other pilots on grid.
THE LOSSES
The Phoenix’s destruction accounted for 4.6 billion ISK in losses, with another 1.7 billion ISK recovered from the wreck. Among the material scattered or destroyed were large stores of Nitrogen Isotopes and torpedoes, the sort of supplies that hint at a capital prepared for serious fighting before it was overwhelmed. For a single ship to absorb that kind of investment and still fall so quickly underlines how decisively the encounter was controlled.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Fraternity., the loss of a Phoenix is more than a flashy line item. Capital ships are expensive to replace and even more expensive to lose when the fight turns against them in open space. For To Lead To Excel To Overcome and its allies, the kill stands as a clean capital ambush and a reminder that even a Phoenix can be isolated, pinned, and destroyed when the wrong response comes at the wrong time.
