THE CATCH

The fight in O36A-P appears to have been short and decisive. Only two participants are recorded, but the result was anything but small: a Phoenix piloted by MundM Rotineque of Synergy of Steel and Space Colony was destroyed almost as soon as the encounter began. What should have been a formidable capital platform instead became a high-value target caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

THE FINAL BLOW

The killing shot came from an unknown attacker flying a Guristas Dreadnought, a strikingly uncommon image in its own right. With 1.4 million damage dealt, the attacker did not simply finish the job — it overwhelmed the Phoenix outright. The dreadnought’s presence suggests the engagement was built around bringing enough force to crush the capital before it could meaningfully respond.

THE LOSSES

The Phoenix’s destruction accounted for 3.6 billion ISK of the loss, with another 573.8 million ISK in assets either destroyed or dropped from the wreck. Among the cargo and fittings recorded were nearly 198,000 Nitrogen Isotopes and large numbers of Nova Rage XL Torpedoes, underscoring just how much capital-grade material went down with the ship. For Synergy of Steel, this was not a routine casualty but the loss of a major hull with serious replacement cost.

With the encounter over in the same instant it began, O36A-P has the feel of a clean interception rather than a drawn-out fight. The scale was small, but the result was severe: a capital ship removed from the field and a substantial prize claimed by an unidentified aggressor.
