Paladin Lost in QRH-BF as Small Gang Lands a 2.4B ISK Prize

A Paladin worth 2.4 billion ISK was cut down in QRH-BF in a brief but costly strike that left its pilot, FlyMeToTheMoon555 of HOLD MY PROBS, with little room to recover. The marauder was destroyed by a small attacking group tied to Singularity..., with Dodgey Sen in a Widow landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The engagement in QRH-BF was over as quickly as it began, but the result was anything but routine. A Paladin — one of New Eden’s more punishing hulls to lose in the wrong place — was caught and destroyed in a fight involving just five participants overall. The attackers appear to have secured the opening they needed before the ship could escape, turning a single moment of exposure into a 2.4 billion ISK loss.

THE HUNTERS

The attacking side was identified with Singularity..., while the victim flew under HOLD MY PROBS. The final blow came from Dodgey Sen’s Widow, backed by another attacker identified as Enforcer Alvatis in an unaligned ship. With three attackers credited around the kill, the fight suggests a compact hunting group that made the most of a fleeting target rather than a broad fleet action.

THE PRICE

The Paladin carried the sort of fittings that make marauder losses sting twice: multiple heat-laden ammunition stocks were destroyed, including Scorch L and Conflagration L, alongside Acolyte II drones and Tracking Speed Scripts. Of the 2.4 billion ISK total value, 1.9 billion ISK was destroyed outright, while 451.9 million ISK dropped into the wreck — enough to make the loss painful even before the hull itself is counted.

THE CONSEQUENCE

For HOLD MY PROBS and Katorga F1, the loss of a Paladin is the sort of setback that is felt immediately. For Singularity..., it is a sharp reminder that disciplined small-gang pressure can still claim high-value prey in an instant. In a system like QRH-BF, where a brief opening can decide everything, this was less a prolonged battle than a clean and expensive catch.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
