The loss stripped away a heavily fitted hull and exposed just how quickly an expensive ship can be pinned down in wormhole space.

THE CATCH

The engagement in J113131 was brief but costly. DISASTER Delivery Service lost a Paladin flown by Melissa Aldana, and the ship never had the chance to turn the fight around. Pewgilism. fielded a mixed group that included a Deimos, a Muninn, and two Praxises, with six attackers credited in the closing assault.

THE PRESSURE

The Paladin’s fit suggests it was built for hard-hitting close-range work, with Imperial Navy Multifrequency L and Conflagration L among the ammunition recovered or destroyed in the wreckage. Scorch L also appears in the loss, hinting at a laser platform that was caught in a situation where range control no longer mattered.
