Paladin Destroyed in 1I5-0V as Fraternity. Spring the Trap

A Paladin worth 2.9 billion ISK was caught and destroyed in 1I5-0V, ending a costly run for Big Green Fly when Fraternity. and allies closed in with a 41-pilot response. The Black Ops-style pressure of multiple Sacrileges and supporting ships left the marauder with nowhere to go, and the final blow went to ovo mmp in a Sacrilege.

THE CATCH

The fight in 1I5-0V was brief, but it was anything but small. What began as a single high-value loss quickly resolved into a coordinated interception, with 24 attackers credited on the final engagement and a broader field of 41 participants around the system. At the center of it was Annet LTT’s Paladin, a ship that only becomes more dangerous when it has room to work — and far more expensive when that room disappears.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Fraternity. carried much of the weight of the attack, with several Sacrileges appearing among the leading damage dealers, while a Vedmak also joined the pressure. The Paladin’s fittings suggest it was armed for heavy, sustained damage: Conflagration L, Scorch L, Navy Cap Booster 3200 charges, and Imperial Navy Acolytes all featured in the wreckage, while a large share of nanite repair paste was lost with the ship. That mix points to a marauder built to stay in the fight — until the fight turned against it.

THE BREAK

The killing damage came from ovo mmp in a Sacrilege, but the destruction was clearly the product of layered pressure rather than a single opportunistic strike. Several attackers pushed damage into the target, including Tama Ajatar, edison-j, pangudashen Togenada, and Saint Unscrupulous. Once the Paladin was pinned down, the defense appears to have unraveled fast, and the expensive hull was reduced to debris before an escape attempt could matter.

THE LOSSES

The wreck left behind 1.9 billion ISK in destroyed value and 1.1 billion ISK in loot dropped, turning a single ship into a multi-billion-ISK setback for Big Green Fly and pilot Annet LTT of Koto-Kureki. In a system where a marauder can dominate a small field, losing one is never routine; it is a reminder that even a ship built to punish mistake and hesitation can become a prize when hunted properly.

Scan Stakan Killed 55 Ships and Lost 186 in the Same Fight

E-WMT7 produced 376 killmails, somewhere around 134 billion ISK of wreckage, and one battleship worth more than a force auxiliary, a Nestor and a Typhoon Fleet Issue put together. The number that stings harder is 186. That is how many ships Scan Stakan lost in the same engagement in which they killed 55 - top of the kill list and top of the loss list, in a single three-and-a-half-hour afternoon.

x Never Regret x Takes 40 Kills as Raa Burns 26 Capitals

At 17:28 UTC, a Retriever died in Raa. Retrievers die constantly, and in Devoid that is more or less the job description. This one is only worth mentioning because of what followed it: for the next hundred minutes, a system on the edge of Amarr space turned into a scrapyard, and by the time the last shot landed at 19:10, 87 ships had been destroyed and the bill had reached 157.4 billion ISK. Almost half of that was one Revelation.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Split Dal's 192 Billion ISK Bill

An Amarr Shuttle belonging to G0lden Fleet. died in Dal at 16:15 UTC. That is not normally the opening line of a 192 billion ISK story, but Dal spent the next three hours and forty-one minutes making sure nobody forgot it. By the time the last capsule in the system - belonging to x Never Regret x - came apart at 19:56, 557 pilots had produced 516 confirmed losses, fourteen capital ships had been wrecked, and the Heimatar system had eaten just over 192 billion ISK. That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.

Brave Newbies Topped Both Sides of the HY-RWO Ledger

The first ship to die in HY-RWO was a Rokh worth 44.7 billion ISK, and it set the tone for everything that came after. Over the following hour, 1,883 pilots fought in the Catch system, 243 ships were destroyed, and around 205 billion ISK was removed from the economy one killmail at a time. Not a single capital ship died. In a fight of that size, the most expensive losses were ordinary battleships, fitted in a way that makes the word 'ordinary' sound absurd.
