THE PRESSURE
The damage profile suggests the ship was under sustained close-range pressure before it finally went down. The Paladin carried ammunition and fittings suited to heavy engagement, including Conflagration L, Scorch L, Imperial Navy Multifrequency L, and Republic Fleet Warrior drones, while also holding Synth Mindflood Boosters. Much of that cargo and equipment was destroyed in the wreck, adding to the cost of the loss.
THE BREAK
The attackers’ own ships point to a coordinated hunt rather than a passing skirmish. Multiple Tengus were involved in the destruction, with several pilots contributing thousands of damage each before the final shot landed. That kind of concentrated fire suggests the Paladin was not able to escape once the net closed around it.
