THE CATCH
The engagement in 1I5-0V was brief, but it was anything but trivial. What began as a single-loss event quickly showed the shape of a coordinated hunt, with 32 participants present and Fraternity. applying enough pressure to hold a Paladin on the field long enough to finish the job.
THE BREAK
The decisive damage came from a Fraternity. wing built around Vedmaks and Sacrileges, a mix that suggests the target was pinned down and overwhelmed before it could escape. The final blow was delivered by ovo mmp in a Sacrilege, closing the action on the Marauder after 17 attackers were involved in the destruction of the ship.
THE LOSSES
The Paladin, flown by b 011 of Big Green Fly’s Koto-Kureki, was stripped for parts in the fight. Of the ship’s 2.9 billion ISK value, 2.2 billion ISK was destroyed outright, while 699.2 million ISK in assets reportedly dropped. Among the items lost or scattered were ammunition, repair supplies, boosters, and drones — the sort of fitting that underlines how much was riding on the hull being in space at the wrong moment.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Big Green Fly, the loss is a costly reminder of how exposed even a heavily armed Marauder can become once a hunt closes cleanly. For Fraternity., it is the kind of compact, efficient strike that makes a hunting force look dangerous: fast pressure, focused damage, and a prize too valuable to let go once it was caught.
