In this case, the hunt appears to have ended before the target could slip away.

THE HUNTERS CLOSE IN

Novus Ordo. committed only two attackers to the kill, but that was enough to corner the frigate. Honzas Krutas, flying a Caracal, applied the decisive damage and secured the destruction, while Goddess of Destruction remained nearby in a capsule. For a ship designed to operate on the edge of visibility, being caught by a small hostile element can be fatal in an instant.

THE LOSSES

The Pacifier’s destruction accounted for 1.2 billion ISK in total value, with 625.8 million ISK destroyed and 526.3 million ISK recovered or dropped.
