THE CATCH
The fight in P9F-ZG was over almost as soon as it began, but the result was anything but trivial. An Orca, a ship built to anchor industrial operations rather than survive focused combat, was isolated and destroyed in a clash involving 10 participants. For Invidia Gloriae Comes, the loss of a capital-scale industrial platform in a single moment would have been a costly interruption; for the attackers, it was a prize that justified the risk of committing enough ships to bring it down.
THE HUNT
Domain Research and Mining Inst. brought at least six attackers to the scene, with damage concentrated through two Lokis and a Vedmak. Caligon Hemah in the Vedmak scored the final blow, while REDEATH Asques and Lyla Ozawa applied the heaviest pressure before the Orca gave way. The presence of a Sabre suggests the target may have been held in place long enough for the damage dealers to finish the job, while a Falcon stood by as additional support even though it did not fire on the target.
THE BREAK
The Orca did not leave the field cleanly. Along with the hull itself, the attackers stripped away a small amount of cargo and recovered only 11.3 million ISK from the wreck, with much of the value destroyed alongside the ship. Heavy Water was among the items that dropped, while several mining-related charges and eight Sisters Core Scanner Probes were lost in the destruction. The mismatch between the ship's industrial role and the force brought against it made the outcome feel especially abrupt.
THE COST
For Invidia Gloriae Comes and pilot Noana Panala, the loss of an Orca is more than a single expensive wreck. It is the loss of a mobile industrial anchor, and in EVE those are not the kind of ships that vanish without consequence. For Domain Research and Mining Inst., the kill suggests a well-timed interception that converted a fleeting opportunity into a substantial payout. In a system like P9F-ZG, that is often enough to turn a quiet moment into a memorable one.
