Orca Caught and Crushed in IKTD-P Hunt

An Orca worth 1.6 billion ISK was caught and destroyed in IKTD-P after Odin's Call put together a compact hunt that left the industrial ship with nowhere to run. The loss went to Fraternity.'s KasAlex Barboskin, with Hans Elemagor of Odin's Call landing the final blow in a Khizriel.

THE CATCH

The encounter was brief but costly. In IKTD-P, Odin's Call found and destroyed a Fraternity. Orca flown by KasAlex Barboskin of Thunder Shield, ending a single-ship loss that still packed serious value. The attack was swift enough that the Orca never turned the situation into an escape story, and the battle data suggests a focused interception rather than a broad fleet brawl.

THE DAMAGE

The Orca's destruction stripped away most of the ship's value, with 1.4 billion ISK destroyed and just 196.8 million ISK recovered in drops. Its cargo tells the story of why it mattered: heavy water and large quantities of compressed Hezorime were among the items carried aboard, with some destroyed outright and some spilling into space. For a ship built around utility and logistics, that kind of loss hurts twice — once in hull cost and again in what it was hauling.

THE HUNTING FORCE

Nine attackers are tied directly to the kill, while the wider engagement involved 12 participants overall. Odin's Call brought a mixed hunting package to the fight, including a Khizriel, Sleipnir, Kikimora, Brutix Navy Issue and Tengu among the notable ships involved. Hans Elemagor delivered the final blow in the Khizriel, but the damage was spread across several hulls, suggesting the Orca was pinned down under coordinated pressure rather than overwhelmed by a single strike.

THE CONSEQUENCE

For Fraternity., the loss of an Orca in hostile space is the kind of disruption that can slow operations and put expensive assets at risk whenever they move untethered. For Odin's Call, the kill reads as a clean prize from a successful hunt: a high-value industrial target caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, then dismantled before a response could matter. In EVE, that is often the whole battle — a few moments of exposure, and a ship built to support others becomes the day's headline instead.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
