The loss unfolded in seconds, but the value at stake made it anything but routine. The Odysseus stood out immediately as a high-end prize, and the attack that claimed it suggests a deliberate hunt rather than a chance meeting. With only four participants recorded in the engagement, this was a tight, lethal interception rather than a broad fleet action.

THE SHOT THAT ENDED IT

FlaredMender683 secured the final blow in a Cenotaph, while another attacker identified only as an unaligned pilot in an Invisible Cloud also contributed heavy damage. Together they overwhelmed the Odysseus before it could survive the exchange. The ship’s losses were severe: 2.9 billion ISK destroyed and only 371.1 million ISK recovered, a brutal result for a hull carrying valuable fittings and consumables.

THE COST OF SPEED

The destroyed cargo and modules underline how thoroughly the ship was stripped apart. Neural Network Analyzers, shield and weapon tech components, and Navy Cap Booster 800s were among the items lost or destroyed in the wreck.
