Obelisk Cut Down in Uedama as L.E.G.I.O.N Springs the Trap

A freighter-class Obelisk was destroyed in Uedama after L.E.G.I.O.N. closed in with a 29-ship attack, turning a brief moment on the gate route into a 1.8 billion ISK loss. The ship was brought down by a swarm of destroyers and a final strike from a Coercer flown by zLegion 27.

THE CATCH

The destruction of the Obelisk in Uedama suggests a classic high-risk hunt on one of New Eden’s busiest choke points. Franz Fermenti, flying for Center for Advanced Studies, lost the hauler in a fight that ended almost as soon as it began. With 34 participants recorded and L.E.G.I.O.N. providing the pressure, the encounter appears to have been resolved by speed, focus, and the sort of firepower that freighters can never afford to meet alone.

THE BREAK

The attackers came in with a compact but purposeful lineup, led in the damage report by a cluster of Catalysts and finished by a Coercer. zLegion 02, zLegion 03, zLegion 04, and zLegion 01 all landed heavy damage before zLegion 27 delivered the final blow. The pattern points to a coordinated strike designed to overwhelm a valuable target before any meaningful escape could develop.

THE LOSSES

The Obelisk was stripped for 1.7 billion ISK in destroyed value, while only 60.6 million ISK worth of cargo appears to have survived the wreck. Among the items lost or scattered were mining drones, Hobgoblin I drones, Expanded Cargohold II modules, and fitting pieces such as Mining Laser Upgrade I and Inertial Stabilizers II. For a ship built to move wealth, that combination makes the loss feel doubly costly: the hull was gone, and much of what it was carrying or fitted with was swept away with it.

WHY UDEMA MATTERS

Uedama remains a place where large ships and bad timing can become expensive headlines in a matter of seconds. This destruction reinforces the danger of pushing valuable cargo through the system without the margin for error that hostile hunters demand. For L.E.G.I.O.N., it was a clean prize. For Franz Fermenti and Center for Advanced Studies, it was a reminder that in Uedama, even a momentary lapse can end with a freighter burning in space.

Scan Stakan Killed 55 Ships and Lost 186 in the Same Fight

E-WMT7 produced 376 killmails, somewhere around 134 billion ISK of wreckage, and one battleship worth more than a force auxiliary, a Nestor and a Typhoon Fleet Issue put together. The number that stings harder is 186. That is how many ships Scan Stakan lost in the same engagement in which they killed 55 - top of the kill list and top of the loss list, in a single three-and-a-half-hour afternoon.

x Never Regret x Takes 40 Kills as Raa Burns 26 Capitals

At 17:28 UTC, a Retriever died in Raa. Retrievers die constantly, and in Devoid that is more or less the job description. This one is only worth mentioning because of what followed it: for the next hundred minutes, a system on the edge of Amarr space turned into a scrapyard, and by the time the last shot landed at 19:10, 87 ships had been destroyed and the bill had reached 157.4 billion ISK. Almost half of that was one Revelation.

Rattini Tribe and Prime Directive. Split Dal's 192 Billion ISK Bill

An Amarr Shuttle belonging to G0lden Fleet. died in Dal at 16:15 UTC. That is not normally the opening line of a 192 billion ISK story, but Dal spent the next three hours and forty-one minutes making sure nobody forgot it. By the time the last capsule in the system - belonging to x Never Regret x - came apart at 19:56, 557 pilots had produced 516 confirmed losses, fourteen capital ships had been wrecked, and the Heimatar system had eaten just over 192 billion ISK. That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.

Brave Newbies Topped Both Sides of the HY-RWO Ledger

The first ship to die in HY-RWO was a Rokh worth 44.7 billion ISK, and it set the tone for everything that came after. Over the following hour, 1,883 pilots fought in the Catch system, 243 ships were destroyed, and around 205 billion ISK was removed from the economy one killmail at a time. Not a single capital ship died. In a fight of that size, the most expensive losses were ordinary battleships, fitted in a way that makes the word 'ordinary' sound absurd.
