THE CATCH

The loss of a Nyx is never routine, and in J5A-IX it appears the supercarrier was caught at exactly the wrong moment. Against a small attacking force of eight, Isla Kosaka’s Nyx was isolated and brought down before it could escape the net.

The deciding shot came from Doriyanas Drago flying a Zirnitra, an unusual and imposing final blow for a ship of this scale. That choice of firepower suggests Aegis Victorium was willing to commit serious punch to finish the target once it had been secured.
