The fight in Thera appears to have been a compact but decisive hunt, with eight pilots involved and Dracarys. fielding the pressure that ultimately trapped Pearleus in his Nightmare. The target belonged to The Excommunicati, flying under The Holy Church of the Barghest, and the ship itself was the kind of prize that draws attention the moment it is exposed.

THE BREAKDOWN

Once the engagement closed, the battleship did not survive long. Five Dracarys. attackers are credited with damage, led by DUDUvDUDu in a Vagabond, whose shot delivered the final blow. Supporting Vagabonds and a Garmur kept the pressure on, suggesting a fast-moving strike group that was built to pin down and overwhelm rather than brawl at range.

THE LOSSES

The Nightmare’s destruction accounted for 1.8 billion ISK of the total loss, with only 300.4 million ISK recovered.
