THE LOSS
The ship itself carried the bulk of the pain. Of the 1.7 billion ISK destroyed, 1.5 billion ISK went up with the Nestor, while just under 200 million ISK was recovered from the wreck. The cargo and fittings tell the rest of the story: Hornet EC-300 drones were destroyed, cap boosters were consumed in the struggle, and repair materials were either lost or scattered in the wreckage.

For Boarding Party, the loss of a Nestor in wormhole space is the kind of setback that is felt immediately. For Wolves Amongst Strangers, it reads as a successful hunt — a cleanly executed catch in a system where visibility is limited and mistakes are expensive. In New Eden, that is often enough: a brief window, a trapped target, and a capital-grade volley that leaves only wreckage behind.
