THE CATCH
The fight in BY-MSY was brief, but it carried the kind of sting that makes every misstep expensive. Niko Pan’s Nestor, flown for Dracarys. by Faceless., was brought down in a clash that appears to have favored Rainbow Dash Alliance and its allies once contact was made. The ship was not alone in the field, but the numbers suggest it became the focus of the engagement quickly, with nine attackers credited against the loss and 15 participants in the wider exchange.
THE STRIKE
The final blow came from Tredsan Anzomi in a Nightmare, capping a concentrated assault that included other Nightmares from Hard Knocks Citizens and The Initiative., along with support ships from Rainbow Dash Alliance. That mix suggests the target was caught in the kind of close-range pressure that leaves a heavy cruiser with few clean answers. The Nestor’s fittings tell the same story: Navy Cap Boosters were burned through, ECCM scripts were destroyed, and core modules including a Large Micro Jump Drive and Damage Control II went down with the hull.
THE BREAK
Only 30.3 million ISK worth of items made it out of the wreck, leaving the bulk of the ship’s value behind. Among the few surviving pieces was a True Sansha Multispectrum Coating, but the remainder was lost as the Nestor failed to escape the pressure building around it. For a ship built to be stubborn, that is a costly way to be caught—especially when the hunters arrive with battleship firepower ready to finish the job.
THE LOSSES
The destruction of the Nestor is not a large battle in the grander sense, but it is the sort of local loss that can shape how pilots move through a system. One expensive ship, one clean finish, and a small attacking group walking away with a clear success is enough to mark the event as a sharp and efficient hunt rather than a drawn-out brawl. In BY-MSY, Dracarys. lost the more valuable end of the exchange, and Rainbow Dash Alliance helped turn a short encounter into a 1.3 billion ISK reminder of how quickly a heavy ship can be isolated and erased.
