The loss left a costly mark for PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG, with much of the drill’s cargo either torn apart or hauled away in the wreckage.

THE CATCH

The engagement in QSCO-D was over almost as soon as it began. By the time the fighting had peaked, 46 pilots had been drawn into the system, but the event resolved around a single target: a Metenox Moon Drill belonging to PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG. Siege Green. brought the pressure, and the structure did not survive the encounter.

THE BREAKDOWN

The final blow came from Esse Changeone flying a Zirnitra, with additional damage piled on by another Zirnitra piloted by Eve Cubic and support fire from Nightmare hulls. The attack appears to have been deliberate and focused, with 37 attackers recorded against the structure. Once the shield and defenses gave way, the drill was reduced to wreckage before it could hold out any longer.

THE LOSSES

The destruction total reached 1.4 billion ISK, split between 758 million ISK destroyed and 659.8 million ISK dropped. The loss was not only the structure itself: Magmatic Gas, Platinum, Scandium, Vanadium, and Promethium were also part of the destruction and spill-off, underscoring how much value was tied up in the drill when it was caught. For the victim corporation, the loss was immediate and tangible rather than theoretical.

THE SIGNIFICANCE

Metenox Moon Drills are not the kind of asset that disappear quietly. When one falls, it suggests a failure of security, timing, or simple luck in the wrong place at the wrong moment. In QSCO-D, Siege Green. turned that opening into a clean and expensive result, and the wreck left behind is the sort of reminder industrial groups tend not to forget soon.
