THE HUNT

The engagement in K42-IE was brief, but it was no minor accident. Scumlords fielded at least 13 attackers against a Fraternity. moon drill, turning what may have been a routine industrial asset into a high-value target. The victim, identified only as an unidentified pilot from Gladiators of Rage, lost a Metenox Moon Drill worth 1.4 billion ISK.

THE BREAK

The pressure came from multiple directions. Vedmaks accounted for the bulk of the damage, with pilots including Strelnikov Antipov, Boris Zhivago, Xuca Brasi, and Vasilly Pugachev all contributing heavily before the final blow landed. Thanatos Fumimasa’s Purifier delivered the finishing strike, suggesting Scumlords were able to keep the structure pinned long enough to bring it down decisively.

THE LOSSES

The destruction was not limited to the hull itself. Of the total value tied to the loss, 956 million ISK was destroyed and another 417.5 million ISK was recovered as drops. Among the resources affected were Hydrocarbons, Magmatic Gas, and a quantity of material that included Technetium and Titanium, underscoring that the target was carrying more than just structural value when it went up.
