THE CATCH

The target was a Metenox Moon Drill, one of the more vulnerable prizes in New Eden’s industrial landscape, and it did not survive the encounter in X6AB-Y. The structure was destroyed in a fight that appears to have come down to speed, pressure, and the ability of Kinetic Diplomacy to keep the target pinned long enough to break it.

THE FIREPOWER

The final blow went to ixjohns in a Leshak, but the damage was spread across a hard-working attack group rather than resting on a single ship. Arbren Esctra’s Talos, a pair of Hounds flown by Jeeves Korso and Captain CrushAlot, and Lucius Artemius in a Purifier all contributed to the assault, suggesting a coordinated strike built to burn through the structure before relief or repair could matter.

THE LOSSES

The Moon Drill’s destruction accounted for the full 1.3 billion ISK loss, with 618.9 million ISK destroyed outright and 651.6 million ISK recovered as drops. The haul included stored moon materials such as Magmatic Gas, Platinum, Mercury, and Thulium, while Cobalt was among the items lost with the structure, underlining the industrial sting of the hit.
