THE CATCH

The attack in 1M4-FK was brief, but it was decisive. A Mackinaw flown by SomeFatGuyIA of OnlyFleets. was caught by a small hostile group drawn from DPEBHUE PYCbI and allied forces, with 11 participants recorded around the engagement. For an ice-harvesting barge, the danger was obvious: once the attackers found range and control, the ship had little room to buy time.

THE AMBUSH

The final blow came from Antena2 in a Marshal, a heavy hull that underlines how much force was brought to bear on a mining ship. Other attackers included Redeemers and a Loki, suggesting a covert or hunting-style strike rather than a straight brawl. The Mackinaw did not survive long enough to turn the engagement into anything larger; the fight appears to have been over almost as soon as it began.

THE LOSSES

What was destroyed made the result sting. The barge was carrying a fitting that included Clear Icicle IV-Grade ice and ORE Strip Miners, while Ice Harvester Upgrade II modules were also lost.
