The ship’s value alone made it the clear centerpiece of the engagement, but the fittings tell the rest of the story: Republic Fleet and Caldari Navy modules, Domination inertial stabilizers, and other high-end gear pushed the total loss to around 3 billion ISK.
THE FIGHT CLOSES IN
The attackers and the victim both came from Fraternity., which suggests this may have been an internal clash or a closely contained incident within the same organization. Four attackers concentrated on the target, and the damage came from several Machariels in the same family of ships, with one capsule also appearing in the mix. That kind of concentrated pressure leaves little room for a battleship to reposition, especially when the hull itself is already a high-value prize.
THE LAST BLOWS
The final blow was credited to Jacky Xhhhh in another Machariel, bringing the fight to an abrupt close. The destroyed hull accounted for most of the value, while just under 830 million ISK in fittings appears to have been recovered. Even so, the loss of faction modules and a fully committed battleship slot made this more than a routine skirmish; it was the kind of mistake or misjudgment that can cost a pilot dearly in a matter of moments.

At this scale, the significance lies less in territorial consequence and more in the price of the mistake. A 3 billion ISK Machariel is never a trivial casualty, and the fact that it was destroyed in a small, fast-moving fight suggests how quickly expensive ships can be pinned down and broken once control is lost.
