A short fight in 0MV-4W ended with two Machariels destroyed and 4.2 billion ISK in losses, a sharp reminder that even a fast, heavily armed battleship can be caught when the hunt closes in around it.

THE HUNT CLOSES

The engagement in 0MV-4W lasted barely over a minute, but it was enough to strip away a pair of Machariels in what appears to have been a tight, fast-moving skirmish. Four pilots were involved in all, with Fraternity. listed on both sides of the fight, suggesting a small internal clash or a confused local engagement rather than a broad external battle.

THE FIRST FALL

The heavier of the two losses belonged to and chang of Fraternity.'s Special law enforcement department, whose Machariel was destroyed for a total value of 2.1 billion ISK. The ship carried a mix of combat fittings and utility drones, including Hornet EC-300s, Wasp IIs, inertial stabilizers, and twin Caldari Navy large Graviton smartbombs. The loot and destruction split shows that more than 600 million ISK in assets survived the wreck, but the ship itself was gone by the end of the exchange.

THE FINAL BLOW

The final blow came from xiaoyang001, also flying a Machariel for Fraternity., while xiaoyang004 was present in a capsule and an unaligned attacker in a Guristas Dreadnought is also recorded among the damage dealers. That combination suggests the target was under pressure from multiple directions, with the fight collapsing quickly once the first vessel was committed and the second became exposed.

THE COST OF A SHORT ENCOUNTER

With two Machariels lost in one brief clash, the total damage reached 4.2 billion ISK before the fight was over. Even without a larger fleet battle to frame it, the destruction of expensive battleships in such a confined window makes the outcome notable: a short engagement, a narrow margin for error, and a costly finish for everyone involved.
