The loss centered on Icey Motsu of Goonswarm Federation’s Kun-Lun corporation, whose Machariel was caught and destroyed by a trio of attackers flying the same alliance colors. The final blow came from h2o dy 2 in another Machariel, with Icey Alextrasza and h2o dy 1 also applying damage in the engagement. The result was immediate and costly: 1.7 billion ISK destroyed and another 1.5 billion ISK recovered from the wreck, leaving the ship’s owner with little to show for the encounter beyond the capsule loss that followed.

THE FIGHT

Although the record shows only five participants in total, the arrangement suggests a compact and highly focused hunt rather than a larger fleet action. The attacking ships were all Machariels, giving the engagement a brutal symmetry and leaving the target no easy margin for escape. With no wider battle present in the data, this appears to have been a sharp, localized strike in HFC-AQ that ended almost as soon as it began.
