THE CATCH

The fight in HFC-AQ was over almost as soon as it began. Available data shows only two participants were involved, suggesting a quick interception rather than a drawn-out exchange. On one side was a lone Machariel flown by h2o dy 3 of Goonswarm Federation’s Kun-Lun corporation; on the other, an unaligned attacker operating from an unknown corporation. That imbalance left the battleship exposed, and there was no room for the Machariel to settle into the kind of range control or firepower trade it usually relies on.

THE FINAL BLOW

The kill was sealed by an unidentified pilot in a Domination Titan, a strikingly heavy ship to appear in such a small engagement. The titan is recorded as delivering the final blow after inflicting 60,460 damage, which suggests the Machariel was already under severe pressure before the end came. For a ship built to project force, the presence of a titan in the local fight makes the loss feel less like an ordinary roam casualty and more like a deliberate, high-end catch.

THE LOSSES
