THE HUNT

The fight in G96R-F appears to have begun as a sharp interception rather than a sprawling battle. Goonswarm Federation and Fraternity. were the only alliances named in the engagement, but the encounter still drew a meaningful number of pilots into a very short window of violence. For a ship as costly as a Machariel, that is often all the opening an enemy needs.

THE CATCH

The destroyed vessel was piloted by Bei ji xiong2 of Fraternity.'s Chaos arbiter corporation. The Machariel was worth about 3 billion ISK and accounted for the most significant loss of the brief clash. The fact that the ship went down so quickly suggests it was isolated or pressured before any escape could take shape.

THE BREAK

Rosa Ictus of Goonswarm Federation, flying an Osprey Navy Issue, landed the final blow. The larger share of the damage appears to have come from Fraternity. ships in the closing moments, including other Machariels and the pilot's capsule, which points to a frantic, compressed exchange rather than a clean one-sided execution. Even so, the battleship was finished before it could be saved.

THE LOSSES

The wreck left behind both destroyed and recovered cargo, with more than 2.2 billion ISK lost outright and 815.8 million ISK recovered. Ammunition and heavy munitions were among the items caught in the destruction, reinforcing the impression of a combat ship fully fitted for work rather than a hollow shell. In the end, the immediate consequence was simple: Fraternity. lost a prized battleship, and Goonswarm Federation claimed a costly field victory in G96R-F.
