The engagement in QS-530 was brief, but it carried the kind of weight that follows expensive hulls everywhere in New Eden. Leon Haias of Beyond the Breach was flying a Machariel, a battleship that always invites attention when it appears on the grid. In this case, that attention came from Goonswarm Federation, with 13 attackers contributing to the destruction of the ship in a fight that involved 17 pilots overall.

THE BREAKDOWN

The attack was not left to a single ship. Multiple Vagabonds were present among the attackers, alongside a Naga, suggesting a coordinated effort to keep pressure on the Machariel until it could no longer escape or resist. Mitis Wendy, also in a Vagabond, dealt the final blow after inflicting the largest share of the damage. The result was decisive: 946.8 million ISK destroyed, with only 256.1 million ISK recovered from the wreck.
