THE HUNT
Psyno Theory fielded at least a dozen attackers around the kill, while Fraternity. pilots in multiple Machariels seem to have tried to keep the ship alive. The exchange suggests a concentrated hunt rather than a broad fleet battle, with the target forced to absorb sustained fire until its defenses gave out. The final blow came from Lilly Tsutola in a Retribution, an unlikely-looking ship to end such a heavy loss, but one that underlines how quickly small hulls can matter when the target is already trapped.
THE LOSSES
The Machariel’s destruction erased 2 billion ISK outright and left 528.3 million ISK in dropped equipment behind, including a Caldari Navy Large Graviton Smartbomb and a Large Cap Battery II among the surviving fittings. Other fitted modules were destroyed, including additional Caldari Navy smartbombs and a Large Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer I. For the pilot, the loss is more than a line item: it is the disappearance of a heavily invested battleship and the fittings meant to make it effective and mobile.

With a total value of 2.6 billion ISK and only one ship lost, the fight is not a major battle, but it is still a sharp reminder of how vulnerable even expensive battleships remain when hunted in New Eden.
