THE CATCH

The engagement in 0OYZ-G ended with one ship in the spotlight: a Loki flown by ak47didididi of Out of the Blue., from Knight of Zero Ultra. Against a field of 27 participants, the strategic cruiser proved vulnerable once Siberian Squads brought 18 attackers to bear, turning a single target into the centre of a far larger exchange.

THE CERBERUS PRESSURE

The damage came from a tight group of Cerberus hulls, with Delicious Tea landing the final blow and several other Siberian Squads pilots contributing heavily. egoria Regyri, Ferril Estidal, Militaryst1 and oneill Parvi all added sustained damage, suggesting a coordinated volley rather than a scattered skirmish. The Loki never appears to have found breathing room once the missile fire started piling in.

THE LOSSES

The destruction split the bill almost evenly between what was lost and what was recovered. Roughly 1.7 billion ISK was destroyed with the hull, while 1.4 billion ISK dropped from the wreck, including large stocks of Caldari Navy heavy missiles and nanite repair paste. That kind of cargo load hints at a ship that was ready for a long run or a hard fight, and makes the loss feel heavier than the hull alone.

For Out of the Blue., losing a Loki of this value is a sharp and expensive setback, especially to a force that could not save it once Siberian Squads got the angle.
