A Covetor worth roughly 4 billion ISK was destroyed in CCE-0J in a swift strike that left the mining barge stripped and burning before it could get clear. The attack was carried out by Fraternity. against a Brave Collective pilot, with a single Loki landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The loss came almost instantly in CCE-0J, where Ron Rocksmasher of Brave Collective’s Brave Newbies Inc. saw a Covetor dismantled in a short, violent encounter. The barge was carrying the kind of fitted mining gear that turns an ordinary hull into an expensive gamble, and that gamble ended badly when Fraternity. closed in.

THE PRICE OF WORK

The ship’s value tells the story as clearly as the wreckage itself. Of the roughly 4 billion ISK tied up in the loss, about 3.8 billion was destroyed outright, with only 209.2 million ISK recovered. Among the fittings lost were mining crystals, mining drones, and a flight of Hornet II drones, suggesting the ship was actively set up for extraction work when it was caught.

THE KILL

CNMoon, flying a Loki for Fraternity., secured the final blow after dealing 11,097 damage. The engagement involved only four participants, underscoring how quickly a high-value target can be isolated and eliminated when the right ship lands on top of it.
