The engagement was small, fast, and decisive: once the target was pinned down, there was little room left for a tank built to trade fire at range.

THE CATCH

The fight in T-LIWS appears to have opened as a close-range interception rather than a broad fleet clash. With just five pilots involved, this was a compact engagement, but the price tag made it anything but routine. The victim, aceharris of Keys Network and Voidcharter Industries, lost a Leshak that stood out immediately for its value and its fitting. DarkSide. fielded only two attackers on the final blow record, both in Vargurs, with Xynta TT landing the finishing strike and I DRON helping to strip the target down.

THE PRESSURE

The Leshak’s hold tells part of the story. Mystic L ammunition was recovered in large quantity, while more of the same charge and other fittings were destroyed in the wreckage. That suggests a ship prepared for serious combat, not a disposable throwaway, and the combination of a battleship-class hull and expensive modules made the loss sting. Against two Vargurs, the Leshak likely found itself under sustained pressure before the break came.

THE BREAK

Xynta TT’s Vargur delivered the final blow after 41,335 damage was recorded from that ship, with I DRON contributing another 38,755. That level of concentrated fire suggests the target was already in trouble by the time the outcome was decided. Once the Leshak began to fail, the small scale of the encounter would have worked against any attempt to recover or disengage.

THE COST

The destruction total came to roughly 2 billion ISK, with 1.1 billion ISK destroyed outright and 869.1 million ISK dropping into wreckage for the attackers to recover. For Keys Network, the loss of a Leshak is significant on its own; for DarkSide., it was a clean and efficient result from a very small commitment.
