A 1.2 billion ISK Leshak was brought down in J154321 as The Nutters caught Samantha Oleriesteti’s ship and finished it with Hyperion fire. The fight was brief, but the damage was not: the cruiser-sized brawl ended with the Leshak wrecked and most of its ammo burned away in the destruction.

THE CATCH

The engagement in J154321 appears to have been a fast interception rather than a drawn-out brawl. With just four participants on grid, the fight stayed small and focused, and the Leshak quickly became the center of it. For Hole Tanked, that left little room to absorb mistakes or pull the ship back once the pressure landed.

THE BREAK

The decisive blow came from U'tul Sterr flying a Hyperion for The Nutters. His fire accounted for the final blow and 42,848 damage, enough to finish the Leshak before it could escape the trap. When the ship went down, 1 billion ISK in hull and fittings vanished with it, while another 144.6 million ISK in material survived to be scooped from the wreck.

THE LOSSES

Samantha Oleriesteti of Hole Tanked, flying under PAIR OF SCALES, lost the Leshak in full view of the system’s skirmish. The ship’s loadout suggests it was prepared for serious fighting: Tetryon Exotic Plasma L, Mystic L, Meson Exotic Plasma L and Occult L were among the ammunition types either destroyed or dropped in quantity. In a fight this small, those details matter because they show a ship already committed to combat, not passing through lightly.

WHY IT MATTERS

Single-ship losses like this do not redraw borders, but they do remind everyone in wormhole space how quickly a valuable hull can disappear once it is pinned down. For The Nutters, it was a clean and expensive catch. For Hole Tanked, it was a brutal reminder that even a well-armed Leshak can be reduced to wreckage in a matter of moments when the wrong ship lands the right shot.
