The engagement in S-KSWL was over almost as soon as it began, but the result was still a costly one. Panixc’s Kronos, one of EVE’s most dangerous Marauders when properly supported, was destroyed in a fight that appears to have been reduced to an opportunistic catch rather than a full-scale clash.
THE HUNT
Only two pilots were involved, underscoring how quickly the encounter unfolded. The attacker, listed simply as an unaligned pilot in a Guristas Fleet Stronghold, applied enough damage to keep the Kronos pinned down while the larger ship’s value worked against it. The final blow came from that same attacker, who dealt 34,100 damage in total.
THE LOSSES
The Kronos was not an empty hull. Along with the ship itself, a meaningful amount of ammunition and combat supplies was destroyed or recovered in the wreckage, including Null L, Void L, Caldari Navy Thorium Charge L, and nanite repair paste. The ship’s total value was listed at 2.5 billion ISK, with 2.1 billion ISK destroyed and 460.3 million ISK dropping into space.
