The fight in P3EN-E ended with Thomashu of Fraternity.’s Fuxi Legion losing a Kronos, one of New Eden’s most dangerous and expensive marauders. The ship was destroyed at 10:46 UTC, and the scale of the loss suggests this was no routine skirmish. When a hull like a Kronos is caught and dismantled, the cost is measured not just in ISK, but in the time and confidence needed to put it back on the field.
THE PRESSURE BUILDS
Eighteen pilots were involved in the engagement, with Weyland Yutanii Corporation and Fraternity. on opposing sides, while the attacker list also points to support from The Initiative., Lucky.Punch, and The Excommunicati. That mix suggests the target was under sustained pressure rather than isolated in a brief exchange. The Kronos carried a serious weapons loadout, and much of it was lost or destroyed when the ship went down, including Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge L, Void L, Null L, Spike L, and Javelin L ammunition.
THE BREAK
The final blow was delivered by Caldor Gend flying a Brutix for Weyland Yutanii Corporation, an almost understated finish for a ship of this class and value. Mike Right’s Tholos appears to have contributed the most damage, with other notable attackers adding to the collapse as the Kronos was worn down. Once the marauder was pinned into a losing fight, the field closed fast, and the defenders were left with little room to turn the engagement back in their favour.
THE LOSSES
The destruction total reached 1.3 billion ISK, with only 105.3 million ISK reported as dropped value from the wreck. For Fraternity., that means the expensive part of the loss stayed with the ship’s destruction, leaving very little to salvage from the remains. In a region where heavy ships are often fielded with confidence, the disappearance of a Kronos is the sort of event that forces every future undock to be reconsidered.
