THE CATCH
The engagement in RCI-VL was brief on paper, but the scale around it suggests a coordinated hunt rather than a passing skirmish. Brotherhood of Spacers committed at least 26 attackers, while the field around the Kronos swelled to 30 participants in total. In the middle of that pressure sat Usui7’s Kronos, a ship built to hit hard and shrug off danger until it can no longer do either.
THE BREAK
The damage came from a mix of heavy hulls, with Brotherhood of Spacers bringing a Vargur, Brutix, Hurricane, Tempest, and Typhoon into the engagement. Lloyd-buzhou in the Vargur delivered the final blow after putting in the largest share of the damage. The ship’s ammunition loadout suggests the Kronos was fighting at close range and under strain; Void and Null rounds were recovered, while much of the Caldari Navy Antimatter supply was destroyed in the wreckage.
THE LOSSES
The Kronos accounted for the entire loss total in the fight, with about 1.3 billion ISK destroyed and another 365 million ISK dropping from the wreck. That is the kind of destruction that leaves a mark even when the battle itself is over in moments. For a single ship to absorb that much attention usually means someone saw an opening and moved fast enough to take it.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Can i bring my Drake... and its BLOBinA pilot, the loss is more than a costly wreck; it is a clear reminder that expensive hulls rarely survive long once they are isolated. For Brotherhood of Spacers and Void Kraken Corps, it reads as a successful trap or interception, and one that paid off handsomely. In RCI-VL, the Kronos did not escape the net once it closed.
