The fight was brief, but the result was decisive: a heavy ship designed to dominate at close range was instead overwhelmed before it could get away.

THE CATCH

The engagement in 4-HWWF lasted only a moment, but it carried the weight of a far larger fight. Thomashu’s Kronos, flying under Fraternity. and Fuxi Legion, was the target of a coordinated strike that drew in 11 participants overall. Brotherhood of Spacers provided the main pressure, with eight attackers credited against the loss, and the ship was finally finished by Mining Andres in a Redeemer.

THE BREAK

The Kronos absorbed a punishing amount of fire before going down, with the loss data showing 966.8 million ISK destroyed and 64.7 million ISK recovered from the wreck. The presence of multiple covert-ops style attackers, including Redeemers and a Widow, suggests the target was under heavy, focused pressure rather than engaged in an even exchange. Whatever room the Marauder had to maneuver appears to have vanished quickly once the attack closed in.
