THE CATCH

The engagement was brief, but the outcome was expensive. In N5Y-4N, a Fraternity. Iteron Mark V piloted by rgxqj was pinned down and destroyed in a fight involving just seven participants. The ship’s value alone made it a worthwhile target; the contents and fittings pushed the total loss to 1.7 billion ISK.

THE STRIKE

The killing blow came from OttoVonKatz in a Purifier, with fellow My Little Pony Industries Inc. pilot Transporter 4 also contributing heavy damage in another Purifier. The attackers fielded only three pilots directly tied to the top loss, suggesting a tight, deliberate hunt rather than a sprawling fleet action. Jita Lady in an Arazu appears in the record as well, though without damage, hinting at support or control on the field.

THE LOSSES

The Iteron’s destruction stripped away a large amount of cargo and equipment. Among the notable items lost or recovered were thousands of cruise missiles and torpedoes, with Inferno and Nova cruise missiles among the items that dropped, while additional ammunition such as Scourge cruise missiles, Nova auto-targeting cruise missiles, and Mjolnir torpedoes were destroyed in the wreckage. The cargo mix suggests the hauler was carrying more than routine freight when it was intercepted.
