The loss split into 552.3 million ISK destroyed and 640.2 million ISK dropped, making it a sharply painful result for Reggiecorp even by industrial standards.
THE TARGET
The Iteron was not travelling light. Among the items destroyed were 200,000 units of Magmatic Gas, 6,490 Nitrogen Fuel Blocks, an Expanded Cargohold II, and a Medium Cargohold Optimization I. A Metenox Moon Drill also appears among the dropped cargo, suggesting the hauler was carrying valuable and bulky equipment or materials that made the ship especially worth catching.
THE HUNT
The attack was credited to Howitzers and Champagne, with Mordrel Sinclair in a Proteus securing the final blow and Pearson Hardmen in an Arazu alongside him. The pair’s presence suggests a coordinated interception rather than a chance meeting, and the results point to a cleanly executed trap that left the Iteron little room to survive once it was committed to the route.
THE CONSEQUENCE
For Reggiecorp, the loss was less about the hull itself than the cargo and fittings that vanished with it. For Howitzers and Champagne, it was a compact but expensive prize: the sort of kill that does not require a fleet to matter, only timing, position, and the willingness to strike when a hauler is exposed. In Crielere, that was enough to turn a single industrial into a billion-isk headline.
