A 1.2 billion ISK Ikitursa was brought down in I-7JR4 after United Cats caught the heavy assault cruiser in a fast, local fight that ended with the final blow landing from a Sleipnir. The loss left Pandemic Legion down a prized hull while most of the ship’s fittings were obliterated in the wreck.

THE CATCH

The engagement appears to have been brief but decisive. In I-7JR4, a United Cats group met a Pandemic Legion Ikitursa and turned the encounter into a costly loss for the defender. Twelve pilots were involved in the fight overall, with United Cats accounting for the bulk of the pressure that ultimately overwhelmed the cruiser.

THE BREAK

The Ikitursa belonged to Connor Kai of Pandemic Legion’s Squid Inc., and it did not survive long enough to escape the net. AsRain, flying a Sleipnir for United Cats, scored the final blow after a mix of damage from nearby ships had already worn the target down. Ex Grande’s Proteus and Engako Odada Stasarik’s Vagabond were among the other attackers applying pressure as the ship was pinned in place.

THE LOSSES

The cruiser’s destruction erased roughly 1.1 billion ISK in fitted value, with only 175.8 million ISK recovering from the wreck. Several expensive ammunition stocks were lost with it, including large quantities of Tetryon Exotic Plasma M and Baryon Exotic Plasma M, while other charges such as Occult M and Mystic M were either destroyed or scattered in the wreckage. The result was a punishing trade for a single cruiser-sized loss.

WHY IT MATTERS

An Ikitursa is not the sort of ship that vanishes quietly. Losing one in a small local clash suggests a moment of exposure that United Cats were able to exploit quickly and cleanly. For Pandemic Legion, the loss is expensive on its own; for United Cats, it is the kind of sharp interception that can reshape a skirmish before it has time to grow.
