THE CATCH

The fight in J105549 was small, fast, and decisive. Six pilots were involved in the exchange, but the centrepiece was the Absolute Pure Ikitursa flown by Youz DaPro, a ship valuable enough to turn any mistake into a headline. Space Mob brought three attackers to the kill, enough to pin the cruiser down once it was found and keep the pressure on until the end.

THE DAMAGE

The final blow came from Markous Tsero in a Loki, with DragonK468 in an Orthrus and Garadox Gaterau in a Rook adding the force that wore the target down. The Ikitursa was not just destroyed; most of its fittings were wrecked in the process, while a smaller portion made it out as loot. The loss left 2.6 billion ISK in wreckage and another 236.5 million ISK in drops, underlining just how expensive a few seconds of exposure can become in wormhole space.

THE PRIZE LOST

Among the wreckage were valuable ammunition and wormhole-running tools, including Mystic M, Occult M, a Neural Network Analyzer, and a Sleeper Data Library. Those details suggest the Ikitursa was fitted and travelling with the kind of cargo that makes a ship even more tempting to hunters. For Absolute Pure and Absolute Order XIII, the destruction of a strategic cruiser in J105549 is the kind of loss that is felt immediately: expensive, disruptive, and hard to shrug off.

THE AFTERMATH

Space Mob needed only a small gang and a clean catch to turn the encounter into a multi-billion-ISK prize, while Absolute Pure paid the full price for being caught in the wrong moment.
