It was caught in System 31002435 by a group identified as unaligned attackers 99010265, with 24 pilots contributing to the destruction of the target. The final blow came from an attacker in Ship 52907, ending what appears to have been a sharply executed hunt rather than a prolonged stand-up fight.
THE BREAK
The clash unfolded quickly between 19:40 and 19:42 UTC, and the numbers suggest the independent pilot was never given much room to recover once the attackers had committed. Damage was spread across several attackers, but the heaviest pressure came from two pilots whose ships did the bulk of the work, including more than 1.5 million damage from the final-blow attacker and just over 1 million from another unnamed combatant. For a ship of that value, the margin for error was thin from the start.
THE LOSSES
The destroyed hull was not the only casualty. A second ship was also lost in the same encounter, bringing the total tally to two ships and 13.9 billion ISK in losses. The expensive target alone accounted for 7.9 billion ISK, with most of its value destroyed rather than recovered, while 818 million ISK appears to have been looted from the wreck. Notable cargo and fittings were also destroyed in large quantities, underlining how much was committed and how little was spared once the ship broke.
