A brief strike in AD107 ended with Blackwatch Syndicate losing a capsule worth 2.3 billion ISK, along with a Gila in the same encounter. The engagement lasted only seconds, but it still produced a costly result for the victim and a clean prize for the attackers.

THE CATCH

The fight in AD107 was over almost as soon as it began. On one side was Blackwatch Syndicate; on the other, a small group identified only as unaligned attackers. In a system that offers little room for error, the encounter quickly turned into a successful catch rather than a drawn-out exchange.

THE LOSS

The largest prize was the capsule of Guzz Chelien, destroyed for 2.3 billion ISK. The pod carried a set of high-grade Crystal implants, including Alpha, Delta, Epsilon, and Gamma, along with an Overmind 'Goliath' Drone Tuner T25-10S. Those implants make the loss sting far beyond the hull itself, and their destruction suggests there was no time to recover the pilot before the trap closed.

THE FINAL BLOW

The final blow was credited to an attacker flying an Unstable Abyssal Depths, with the attacker listed only as unknown. That limited identification leaves the picture incomplete, but it still points to a precise, opportunistic strike by a very small force. With only two participants recorded on each side, there was no room for a mistake on either side.

THE AFTERMATH

Alongside the capsule, a Gila was also lost in the same encounter, bringing the total value of the engagement to 3.9 billion ISK. For Blackwatch Syndicate, the result was not a fleet disaster, but it was an expensive one: a fast loss, a valuable pod, and the kind of ambush that can turn an ordinary movement through AD107 into a memorable disaster.
