A brief fight in Wirashoda ended with Solyaris Chtonium taking a costly hit, as The Initiative. claimed a 4.6 billion ISK prize and left one of the engagement’s most expensive losses drifting in pieces. What began as a small clash quickly turned into a sharp reminder that even a capsule can be a target worth hunting when the fit inside is valuable enough.

THE CATCH

The engagement was short, lasting only seconds, but it carried unusual weight. Across 66 participants, The Initiative. and Solyaris Chtonium met in Wirashoda, and the fight produced two losses: a Barghest and a capsule. The larger story, though, was the capsule itself. Its destruction accounted for 2.6 billion ISK and turned an otherwise fleeting skirmish into a far more painful moment for Solyaris Chtonium.

THE TRAP CLOSES

The decisive blow came from kribensis74 flying an Omen Navy Issue, with support around him from a small strike group of five attackers. A Svipul, Malediction, Magus, and Crow were all present as The Initiative. applied pressure, suggesting the target had been pinned long enough for the final shot to land. The capsule belonged to uMillenium of Solyaris Chtonium’s Get Fing Rekt Son corporation, and the loss of that hull also erased several expensive implants in the process.

THE PRIZE

The destroyed clone carried a stack of valuable hardwiring and high-grade Hydra implants, including the Zainou 'Deadeye' Rapid Launch RL-1005, High-grade Hydra Alpha, Delta, and Epsilon, and the Zainou 'Deadeye' Target Navigation Prediction TN-905. Those implants help explain why the smallest ship in the fight was also the most expensive. For The Initiative., the kill appears to have been less about the hull and more about catching a well-fitted pilot exposed at exactly the wrong moment.

THE CONSEQUENCE

For a fight that opened and closed almost immediately, the result was still significant. A Barghest was lost as well, but it was the capsule destruction that made Wirashoda stand out: a high-value personal loss in a compact engagement, and a reminder that in New Eden, escaping the ship is not the same as escaping the battle. The Initiative. walked away with the sharper prize, and Solyaris Chtonium paid dearly for the brief encounter.

That is not a skirmish somebody stumbled into. That is a decision, made over and over, for the better part of four hours.
