Golem Lost in Swift J-RVGD Ambush

A Dracarys. Golem was destroyed in J-RVGD after a brief clash with an unidentified attacker flying a Gist Seraphim, turning what appears to have been a quick interception into a 1.2 billion ISK loss for the defender.

THE CATCH

The fight in J-RVGD was over almost as soon as it began. One Golem, flown by Eledn of Tu Zi Fei Corporation, was caught and destroyed by a single attacker whose identity remains unknown. The attacker’s ship, a Gist Seraphim, delivered the final blow in an encounter that involved just two participants and ended with the Marauder reduced to wreckage.

THE LOSS

At roughly 1.2 billion ISK, the destruction was enough to sting even without the scale of a fleet battle behind it. The Golem accounted for nearly all of the value on the field, and most of that was lost outright rather than recovered. Only a small portion of the ship’s contents appears to have survived the explosion, leaving the bulk of the payload to burn with the hull.

THE SIGNATURE OF THE HUNT

The surviving cargo list points to a ship prepared for heavy torpedo work, with large quantities of Caldari Navy Nova Torpedoes destroyed in the blast. That suggests the Golem was not just passing through empty-handed, but fitted and stocked for combat when it was brought down. The limited recovery and the heavy ammo loss reinforce the impression of a target caught at the wrong moment, with little time to react once the attack landed.

WHY IT MATTERS

Single-ship losses like this do not redraw a region, but they do matter because they are immediate, visible, and expensive. For Dracarys., the loss of a Golem is a sharp reminder that even a heavily armed Marauder can be vulnerable when isolated. For the attacker, the kill was a clean prize: one target, one final blow, and a hostile ship worth far more than the few seconds it survived.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
