THE CATCH
The engagement in Q-L07F was over as quickly as it began. By the time the fighting ended, only two pilots had been involved: the Fraternity. Golem flown by jiejiejie996, and an unidentified attacker operating under the label of Unaligned attackers. For the victim, the result was immediate and final — a Golem destroyed in a system where even a brief lapse in caution can become ruinous.
THE TARGET
A Golem is never a trivial loss. As a Marauder, it is a ship built for heavy punishment and heavy firepower, and this one was carrying the kind of ammunition stock that suggests it was fitted for serious work. Thousands of Scourge Fury Cruise Missiles were recovered, alongside a large number of Mjolnir Precision Cruise Missiles destroyed in the wreckage. That loadout hints at a vessel prepared to stay on station and keep shooting — exactly the sort of ship that becomes painful to lose when it is caught out.
THE BREAK
The attacker’s own ship, a Pithum Inferno, is an unusual sight in this kind of kill. The final blow came from an unknown pilot, but the vessel itself did the work: 284,567 damage was recorded against the Golem before it went down. However the exchange unfolded, it suggests the Marauder was isolated long enough for the attacker to bring enough pressure to bear and force the ship into collapse before help could change the outcome.
THE COST
The destruction totaled 1.6 billion ISK, with roughly 1.2 billion ISK erased outright and another 383.6 million ISK recovered from the wreck. For Fraternity., the loss is less about the number alone than about what it represented: a powerful platform, its fittings, and the cargo it carried, all gone in a moment. In New Eden, that kind of defeat is memorable precisely because it can happen so fast.
