For PandaJSY of Dawn's Light, the outcome was catastrophic: a Golem, one of New Eden’s prized marauders, was taken out in a single, clean loss.
THE PRIZE
The ship itself was the story. A Golem carries both heavy firepower and a heavy price tag, and this one was fitted for serious cruise missile work. The wreck left behind only a small return compared with the value destroyed, while thousands of Mjolnir Fury and Precision Cruise Missiles were either scattered or lost with the hull. That kind of cargo suggests the ship was prepared for sustained combat, which makes its destruction all the more punishing.
THE FINAL BLOW
The final blow came from an unknown attacker flying an Imperial Templar Dominator, credited with 145,045 damage. The attacker’s identity remains obscured in the data, but the result does not: the Golem never escaped the net once it was caught. In a fight this brief, timing mattered more than numbers, and the lone aggressor was enough to finish the job.
THE LOSSES
For Dawn's Light, the destruction of the Golem represents more than a lost ship. A 1.2 billion ISK hull is not something a pilot expects to replace casually, especially when the engagement ends without reinforcement or a meaningful chance to recover. The small scale of the fight only sharpens the loss, turning what may have been a routine movement or hunt into an expensive mistake.
