THE CATCH

The fight in HP-64T appears to have centered on a single high-value target: Derf Rrag’s Golem, a ship built to project serious damage and tank in equal measure. Instead, it became the focus of a 23-participant engagement that quickly shifted the balance away from the Marauder and toward the attackers. With 14 attackers credited on the final loss and ships from outside the main hostile organization present in the mix, the encounter suggests the target was not simply traded away, but actively pinned and finished under pressure.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Desolate. was the named attacking organization, but the wrecking force was broader than that alone. The loss record points to a Centus Dread Lord among the attackers, alongside Redeemer and Sin hulls associated with other groups, which suggests this was not a lone predation run but a messy convergence of force against one expensive ship. The Golem’s torpedo stores tell their own story: thousands of Mjolnir Javelin torpedoes were aboard, with additional Rage torpedoes partly lost and partly dropped, reinforcing that this was a fully committed combat fit rather than a bare travel shell.

THE BREAK

The decisive moment came when Magalaus Shardani’s Sin landed the final blow. By that stage, the Golem had already absorbed heavy punishment, with most of its 2.2 billion ISK value destroyed and only 556.7 million ISK recovered in drops. The presence of multiple named attackers on the loss, including damage from a Centus Dread Lord and other cloaked or covert-capable hulls, points to a fight where the target’s options were steadily erased before the closing shot was delivered.

THE LOSSES

For Sigma Grindset and Derf Rrag, the loss was more than a single ship exploding in space. A Golem is an expensive commitment, and losing one in a 23-ship engagement means the opposing side found enough coordination and control to turn that investment into debris. Desolate. can claim the kill, but the wider mixed attacker list suggests this was also an opportunistic pile-on that rewarded whoever could keep pressure on the target long enough to claim the prize.
