The Golem’s Nova Rage Torpedoes were still on the field in quantity, but they were not enough to save the ship.

THE LOSSES

The destroyed Golem, flown by Nelvian of Goonswarm Federation’s HongLou corporation, accounted for the full loss in the engagement. Of the 2.6 billion ISK tied up in the ship and fittings, 1.6 billion ISK was destroyed and 1 billion ISK dropped into the wreck, making the outcome painful even by capital-hunt standards.

For a marauder, being caught by a small group is often the worst possible outcome: expensive, isolated, and hard to shrug off.
